2025 Telluride SX and MyQ garage opener

The recent Infotainment update indicates that we are now able to connect to MyQ, but I'm seeing contradictory info. Does anyone have any insight on this?

I saw the same thing, but I can't find it anywhere on the vehicle screen or on the app. It was also listed on the prior update in the original release notes, but later versions of the release notes didn't include that listing. It looked interesting. Has anyone been able to find it or use it?

That feature is for the new ccNC system only… it’s not going to be found on the old standard Gen5W system that’s in first-gen Tellurides with navigation. So you can stop looking.

I have a 2024 SX Prestige X-Line and my infotainment system is the Premium-class Gen5 Navigation (12.3 in. Touchscreen). I also have the Ultimate Kia Connect subscription. In the release notes for the update that we just received under "Kia myQ Connected Garage" it indicates that you can "Activate your one-time free trial today from the Kia Access App. No Credit card is required to activate the free trial".

I've used the search functionality on the navigation screen and did searches on "myQ" and "garage" and nothing comes up. I've also refreshed the Kia Access app on my iPhone and there is nothing on it.

Has anyone successfully accessed this new feature? If not, I may call the Kia Connect Call Center and see what's up.

You have the standard Gen5W system with navigation. You do not have the new ccNC system, which is required to have this feature. Look at the release notes you reference, all of the screenshots of this feature are of the ccNC system. Also check out the link I shared, again it says the ccNC system is required. This feature is not available on any current Telluride, period.

Kia myQ Connected garage is available only on Kia vehicles with a ccNC head unit, which includes the 2024 and 2025 Kia EV9, 2025 Kia EV6, 2025 Kia K4, 2025 Kia K5, 2025 Kia Carnival and 2025 Kia Sorento.
