• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Our Telluride has 55k on it and I know it needs new tires which might help a bit, but it seems like the ride is getting worse, you really feel every bump. Anyone have a similar problem and what did you do about it?

thanks!

Not knowing how you use it, how are the shocks ??
.

55k seems normal to me that’s actually great mileage out of Michelin tires if those are the original ones. Now for ride not being comfortable could be the shocks but it can also be the tires are almost to their end. Do you know the thread depth left on them?

Seems like your shocks may need to be replaced. Hopefully your dealer agrees with your assessment. The self leveling shocks warranty have been extended from 5 years to 15 years. There are other thread postings of shock problems, but here's a shorter and more recent one.

Thanks for posting this, I'm sure it will help other owners.
I didn't get this letter as I ordered my 24 on 31 Jan. 2024, & was delivered on 8 April 2024..

If you have the self-leveling suspension I'd take it to a service center and have them look at it. On my '21 i was getting a popping noise randomly and the ride got very stiff. Turns out the self-leveling suspension failed and got replaced under warranty.

Unsure as to which type of self leveling is used; air or hydraulic fluid? Either way there's almost always some sort of accumulator built into the system to absorb the high speed (that's rate of shock travel in up/down speed. As in suddenly hitting a speed bump. NOT road speed) events that happen.

When the accumulator fails, the harshness gets directly transmitted into the vehicle.
