Hello there!

For those of you who might want to go SUV Camping, light to mild offroad camping trails, I just wanted to say that I've done it. I live in AZ and have gone a bit of glamping up and around Flagstaff, and it's been great!

Just posted about the light bar I installed which should help greatly. But I thought I'd toss in a 'few' pictures here on 'what is possible' to assist in a camping adventure!

Enjoy!

Let me know if you have any questions!

Just be aware of the 4 wheel drive system in this car before you go wheel arches deep crossing streams. Good luck.

Wasn’t planning to do that. Though, please provide an explanation to what you mean. Thank you!

I personally had mine replaced at 50k but others at significantly less miles. My car has never been used for any driving other than paved street driving. The 2 issues are vibration on the highway at certain speeds and failure of the 4 wheel drive coupler.

Wow! Hope this doesn’t happen to me but thank you for the insight.

Glamping setup slightly modified over the last year or two. All is good, no issues with driving, transmission, or anything like that. The Telluride is definitely a unique vehicle to go out - most Bronco and Jeep Owners are like, WTH - they are amazed at how I have everything set up so clean and nice, and with luxury. Sure I can't hit the same crappy trails they do, but I can go far enough.

Added full extension to Thule roof rack, added box, and rock an Overlandish tent now. No issues. All is great!

Done tons of mods in the last 60 days, all camping prep, all good. I'll share some pix, when I finish the last few things for those interested here.
