• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hey All,

looking to potentially purchase a telluride. We are having a third baby in March. My wife wants 3 car seats across the middle bench seat. Is this possible? Anyone done it? Any hints or pictures?

we will most likely have the newborn in a Chico key fit 39

2 year old in Diono xrt rear facing

5 year old in Dinono xrt forward facing

is there any way to then access the 3 row?

any other thoughts or suggestions?

Thank for the advice!

We have 3 car seats but have the 7 seater. That would be really tight having driven the 8 seater and would limit getting in the back row except through the rear door, or taking a car seat out. Someone in the forum was looking to do this, or maybe has done it. If you do not need the 8 seater, the 7 seater is great with the pass through and plenty of 3rd row room. We have our 9yr old, booster, in the back and have 2 front facing in the 2nd row. I am 6'3, and even with a kid behind me, I have plenty of room.

Three across the bench with severely limit 3rd row access. I decided to go with captains for the second row and plan on having my oldest in the third row since she can buckle herself now.

The VW Atlas allows for 3rd row access with a car seat installed in the second row if that is an important feature for you.
