Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 7500 mile tuneup question

I wouldn't call it a tuneup.
It's a quick check of systems (including tire wear, brake function, etc.) and a free oil change, usually included in the sale price of your Telly at most dealerships.
Double-check with them to see what it includes.

I'm actually overdue (by nearly 1,000 miles) for my 7500 tune up. I'm in the process of looking for places right now that will handle it. Some questions for people who know what they're doing:
1) Will any Kia dealership do? Or could we also go to any auto-shop as well?
2) Do we have to bring any kind of paperwork or is there information that's attached to our Vin # / vehicle that they can pull info from?
3) Is this free? I'm guessing from previous responses that it's not.

If only KIA would provide some kind of reference document for owners to refer to for questions like maintenance and such

You don’t have to use a dealership for service.
I schedule service appts via the owners portal.

It's highly likely they did but I lost most of the paperwork (along with everything else) late last year after our house / neighborhood flooded.If only KIA would provide some kind of reference document for owners to refer to for questions like maintenance and such
This is our first car, so I thought this forum would be the safe space to ask these questions.

Any Kia Service Department will do.
Call them for an appointment.
At least when I purchased my Telly, the first 7,500 mile oil change/systems check, at the dealership where I purchased the Telly, was included with the sale price of the car. If you consider that "free"*, that's fine with me
Hilltop Ford/Kia did the change with a full synthetic of some kind that met the recommended standard and gave my Telly a quick check of systems, an easy thumbs-up on all parts because it's essentially new, even after two awesome winter trips to the snowy mountains.

I had my first 7500 mile oil change about two months ago(?). I had it done at our local Kia dealership. But, we did not buy the car there. I think they charged us about $80.00 (I think). He originally was going to charge 90 something for it, but gave us a little break. Don’t remember what else they did check besides changing the oil (just don’t remember`).

My apologies for the sarcasm, and for not making it obvious...but the document I was referring to was your Owners Manual.
There is also an online version on the KIA portal for easy searching.
If Kia (dealer) sent you the notice it’s definitely not free, even if you chose to buy the maintenance packages when you bought your car.

Just came back from my appointment with Ancira Kia in San Antonio for the 7500 tune up.
Oil change (synthetic blend) with tire rotation came out to about $85 for service + labor.

After a year of driving my 2021 SX-P I took it in to the dealer for the 7500 service. I only had 6200 miles on it. I change my own oil. The charge came to $49 for a tire rotation and free multipoint inspection. I was impressed. I am enjoying my Telluride.
