  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hi Everyone,
I moved to USA few months back and I am planning to buy Telluride as my first Vehicle in USA. I went to a dealer and they offered my MRSP 43510$ for EX NightFall Package with Approx 1.9% APR through KIA Financing for 60 Months . Just want to know is it a good price .Plus is EX worth extra 5000$ from S package. My job requires lot of travelling and my wife will be using Telluride .

MSRP is about as good as you can hope for these days. I'd say go for it. It's rare that people are able to negotiate discounts, seeing as how most dealers are marking up $5k+. However, you should be eligible for the promotional financing of 0.9%, or a $500 credit if you take the higher rate?
Kia of Muncie discounts them by $1,000 if you have a Costco membership, and the waitlist is approaching a year long.

Depends on what you are needing, but for me spending the extra for the EX premium was worth it and I was able to get everything I needed and wanted. Some of the features in the SX were very nice, but not on the needed page <G>. Enjoy whatever you decide to get.

I would agree with the others here.....MSRP for EX-NP is a good deal. EX is definitely worth the extra cost with the features it comes with. If you are getting your hands on it quickly from a delivery standpoint, then GO FOR IT....!!!!

One important thing to note is that if you are new to the US and haven't had a chance to build much of a credit score, you may not qualify for the 0.9% or 1.9% financing options. Remember that dealers may not be completely truthful or simply might not understand your specific situation, so don't take their word for it if they haven't pulled your credit yet. When we moved to the US, it took about a year of strict credit-building to get to a score that would qualify for those kinds of incentives.

Second this. I had a friend in college who moved to the U.S. and purchased a vehicle. He talked about it, and was super excited. Having the financial background I did, I looked over his terms and saw that he was paying 8% interest. He was so excited about the car that he let the dealer take advantage of him... albeit his family is rather wealthy, but I worked with him to refinance.
