• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Aftermarket badge for Telluride?

BRENTHON is the best after market badge , hands down , yes they are expensive BUT the do the best job !!Well done ! I've done 2 cars with their badges

Replaced mine with the Brenthon 3G couldn't deal with the current KIA logo next up will be wrapping all the chrome finishes. Removal of the original badges were super easy with a heat gun, took about three minutes to heat up and remove the back badges the hardest one to remove was the AWD badge out of all of the badges.

It appears the front badge on the LX is a little different. Has anyone removed it?

The front emblem has 4 clips holding it on. I’m not sure how to remove it without breaking them. That’s what I did since I’m not planning on reusing the badge. Here are some pics of the back of the badge.

For those interested, I used a front "T" badge and installed it on the factory KIA hitch cover and it looks great with the other T replacement badges.

I really want to do aftermarket badges on my new Telly, but I'm leasing. Does anyone know if the overlay badges come off easily for when my lease is over?

I would think pealing them off and using some Goo Gone would do the trick.

I'm bringing this thread back to life, can anyone tell me how the overlays handle car washes? Will they come off, or get damaged? I really like them, but I do go through car washes in the winter. Thanks for any advice.

What's the deal with everyone replacing their badges?

Is it purely for aesthetic reasons, or are you trying to hide the fact that you're driving a Kia?

(I expect many to say that it's the former, while it really is the latter.)

Why would someone buy a Kia and then be ashamed of driving it?

Same reason why people get haircuts and dressed up for formal occasions, they want to look good and stand out from the norm because of pride. The military uses sabres and impractical dress uniforms that would not be used in battle in their formal uniforms. That’s not to slice watermelons in their best Gallagher impression, it’s because it stands out and looks sharp over the thing you wear every day. The more obvious analogy is a $50B cosmetics industry, why do women buy makeup . . .

I view vehicle customization as a sign of pride in ownership. I haven’t replaced my logo yet, but when the new style Kia NASA font logo badge comes out, I’ll be trying to figure out how to swap.

gee...i don't see a lot of mercedes, bmw, jag, range rover, lexus, etc. on the road with their badges replaced.
i think honesty is the best policy.
