• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Picked up a 21 Telluride in Maryland and almost immediately started having issues with cooling the cabin. Is that a known issue with the A/C?

There is a known issue with the Condenser being vulnerable to rocks. May or may not be your issue. I would put a gauge on it and see if it’s got pressure in the system.

I didn't want to hijack your thread, are you having the same issue as me?

Picked it up a month ago it had 13 miles on it.

Could be the same issue as Dr Dave not sure. I have tried every combo i could think of rear controls on auto and off. Doesn't seem to be cooling at all now. I have had it in 2 times tomorrow will be the 3rd time.

The tech said, it seemed like the 1st problem was no coolant and the factory "was surprised by that it shouldn't have happened."

The 2nd time I took it back to them and they said there is a known issue with over-filling the coolant (?) and that it would switch off automatically if it was detected by the ecu. They tested it a lot and it seemed to them to be working.

Now its a lot warmer in the Mid Atl states and doesn't seem to be cooling at all. So it goes back tomorrow for a loaner.

The local dealership has confirmed that the A/C had zero refrigerant in it. They are disassembling it to find the source of the leak, including the evaporator behind the dash.

Ready for pickup. This time think they found the cause, they found that the system was leaking from some O rings seals that were apparently never put in at the factory(?). I will pick it up today and update the forum after I drive it around for a bit.

Monday morning after pickup on Saturday. Air Conditioning is blowing cold! Seems to be working fine now. I will let the forum know if the problems returns.

Were you having problems with all the A/C? My front works fine, but the rear does not blow any air - hot or cold.

I have a 2021 Kia Telluride with AC issues. I was told it was the evaporator behind the dash. They want $2500 to fix it!!!!!

I have a 2024 Kia Telluride EX and it takes awhile to cool, even in cool weather. The dealer checked it out and it was losing pressure. They have ordered a NEW compressor for me No charge

Hello.I have the same problem, also with the 2024 Kia Telluride EX.It was taking too long also to cool down.Mine was losing pressure too so they said they would replace under warranty. However they gave me a Remanufactured compressor and it barely cools in 70 degree weather.I sent them an e mail requesting a NEW compressor and waiting to hear back. My question to you is - did the new compressor correct the cooling problem? Also, you had yours done in November. I wonder how it will do in hot summer weather.I have a feeling that maybe the oem compressors may be defective?

I checked around with several kia dealers and they said policy is to replace defective a/c compressors with a reman (remanufactured) compressor. As a matter of fact they said if a motor needs replacing they do so with a reman (remanuactured) motor.
