• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Software has been updated, you can now tell Alexa to lock, unlock, set temp and start or stop engine on your Telluride. You need to add the UVO skill to your Alexa. Then you can just tell Alexa to have UVO start your car.

Nice, I tried it and it works! Thanks for the heads up!

Can’t unlock. Says feature not supported. I tried unlinking and relinking. Lock does work though.

I guess, it's by design for security reason. You don't want to unlock your car just by saying someone unknown. Since Alexa does not recognize your voice (that you as an owner) and does not know if that's you who wants to unlock. Their are certain feature could not be activated due to Voice recognition profile is not supported.

Yea but it does require you to give your 4 digit UVO code for security.

But giving code for unlock didn’t work, locking worked. Has anyone got unlocking to work as OP?

Tim-in-CA,

Completely unrelated, but I was looking at your list of former vehicles and was amazed at how similar our tastes are. You purchased the Dodge Intrepid and Chrysler 300M the first years they came out. I was still a kid then but I convinced my father to do the same. I loved those cars! I also had an '04 Acura TL Type-S. Really loved that car. Just picked up my Telluride SX on Saturday and it is the most incredible vehicle I have ever owned. I absolutely love this car!!

Thanks … at the time the Intrepid and 300M were superior to their counterparts … I thoroughly enjoyed them. The Acura also ranks up there as most bang for the buck of vehicles I've had. Hopefully you never had to suffer the Datsun F10! At the time it was the best used car $500 would buy! Below is exactly what mine looked like (yellow with wood grain!) Except my "wood" sticker was peeling off … it was a real "gem"!! Enjoy your Telluride!!!
