I don't wave to anyone. I honestly don't even notice when other Tellys are on the road with me unless they have the yellow lights like I do. If I was on a motorcycle maybe, but when I had a Mercedes or a Chevy I didn't wave to those people either.

It only feels right to do it for rare or niche cars imo which I think the Telluride qualifies for right now. I own an Audi A4 and don’t wave to anyone. But when I had a 300zx or my Evo I would wave to a fellow enthusiast on the rare occasion I’d see another one.

I'm worried that I'm being an elitist jerk for waving only to the new Telly's with the new cool badge and ignoring the older obsolete Telly folks with that simple plain older badge. Am I being a jerk? Aren't we all brothers?

If you were looking to give someone a good laugh, it worked for me. That was pretty funny! I do like the new badge, but I think there are some that do not like it, so they just might not wave to you.

Thanks, of course I was kidding, glad you saw the humor. There were some hilarious responses from some who also go the joke. We had a 2016 Kia Sorento, old badge, great vehicle. Traded it in for the 2022 Telluride SX nightfall, new badge, great vehicle. KIA's just look great and the best warranty, and well, what else is there......and we like the new badge......it's kind of cryptic....neat looking. I do have 2 motorcycles and we wave almost every time. It's a motorcycle thing..except Harley dudes dont' wave to Japanese bikes......then again, our bikes don't break down either. Thanks!

I've never had anyone wave to me in the 8 months or so of having my Telly.... but someone waved to me for the first time this weekend. It was weird... Jeep owners can keep their waving at each other culture.
