• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Does anyone know of a way to configure Android Auto to NOT make use of the GPS built into the vehicle, and instead only use the GPS in the phone? I have an intermittently defective GPS module in my Telluride. While I'm waiting for a replacement part, I've moved from the native Kia nav to Android Auto. Unfortunately, I discovered that AA apparently makes use of the car's GPS, and I now have exactly the same problematic symptom with either Google Maps or Waze when connected through AA. Doh! If I disconnect the cable, forcing Waze or Google Maps to only use the phone GPS, everything works fine. So I'd love to be able to configure AA to ignore the unreliable GPS data from the Telluride. Anyone know of a way to do that?
