• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... My android auto is now working for 5 minutes before switching off
Has anyone else having that problem?

Yes, I had that problem and researched online. Seems like android auto is very finicky on quality of the USB cable. Bought a new, brand-name USB cable and now mine hasn't lost a connection since.

I am using an OEM cable. What brand-name cable are you using?

It's likely the wiring harness behind the panel was pinched during assembly. 3 trips to the dealer before it was fixed for me. They tried to say it's the cord, but all mine worked in my wife's car.

Thank you, I will get them to check it out when I take it in for my 1st oil change

Have the same issues. This is what I'm afraid of. Having the dealer tell me it's the cord or phone and explaining to them is not.
