• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... After 4 weeks of ownership finally got around to fixing a minor annoyance that was bugging the heck out of me. My lower right foot console panel (to the right of the gas pedal) would make a clicking sound every time I rested my foot against it. It felt like there was a missing trim attachment / anchor. So, today I got the chance to investigate while installing my new Garmin Dash Cam Mini. I pulled the panel off while snaking the 5v USB cable under the dash and through to the center console, and noticed an index slot at the firewall end of the plastic panel which slid into an indexed fastener just to the right of the gas pedal. Apparently, the indexed part of the plastic panel was a bit to large for a snug fit. Added a piece of smooth Velcro to the inside of the indexed part and bingo...no clicking when I slid the panel back in place. Nice tight fit.

More on the cam later. A few pics of the mounting. It's attached to the plastic housing behind the mirror.

Thank you for sharing. Mine does not make a clicking sound however, the panel is loose so I am going to use your remedy.
