• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I need some help here please. The shutters in both my headlights have now failed. We are out of regular warranty and my extended warranty company is denying the claim because they exclude headlight assemblies even though I argued that it was still an electrical issue. Didn’t matter to them. So has anyone attempted to repair the problem part inside the lamps. It’s hard to stomach $1700 plus labor for new ones. I anyone has had any luck doing this I’d like to know. Thx.

Kia initially extended the warranty on this component, then later recalled them. The dealer can replace them for you for $0.
