• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I am an avid cruise control user. With my last car (a 2003 Acura TL) as well as my wife's 2017 Mazda CX-9, I was able to keep the cruise control on all of the time. In the Telly, it seems that I have to turn on cruise control every time I start up. Is there any way to keep it on permanently?

Nope, you just have to turn it on when you first want it (it defaults to off every ignition cycle).

Fortunately the button to turn it on is right next to the set/resume button, so it’s not too difficult to find.

When you say this, are you referring to a cruise control stalk that stays in a physical on or off position?

Because the cruise activation button on the Telluride is a momentary electric switch on the steering wheel. As with almost all features on the Telluride (ie Auto Hold, ISG off, HBA) it resets when you turn the car off.

On my old Acura, it was a physical spring-loaded on/off switch, so I understand why that was able to stay on. On my wife's Mazda, however, there is a momentary "on" button and a momentary "off" button:

It does not reset to off each time. Oh well, in the grand scheme of things it's not a big deal. Love the Telly so far!
