Newbie here, been shopping for a car since October and it seems like the tide has definitely turned in buyer's favor.
Had my search down to a Honda Pilot, Pallisade, or a Telluride. Seems like the Telluride is the best value but only if I can get it at MSRP or under.
There are 2 dealers in my area (Chicago burbs) that have significant Telluride inventories, 1 has over 30 and the other over 40 but most of these are '22s.
They are listed on their site at MSRP selling price, the few '23s they have (or on order) says 'call for price'.
From my research don't really see a lot that has changed from the '22 to the '23, one of the dealer I have contacted via online has not stopped calling or messaging daily since 3 weeks ago (and I literally mean every day). They have not offered below MSRP, just asking me to come in for a test drive.
Does the '23s have enough significant improvements to justify paying more for it? I think I can score 5% below MSRP on the '22 they have between these 2 dealers if I wait long enough.
Been tracking the number of the Tellurides they have and they have not been moving past few weeks so I think I have time to wait.
btw - the '22 Honda Pilots are listed 5% below MSRP at most dealerships but I have already decided on a Telluride
