Anyone Purchased from Jim Butler Kia in Chesterfield, MO?

I had ordered on Sep 3rd and received it on Jan 25. I had been told around 120 days so close. When i picked mine up i asked for the wait time now and was told around 6 months so right around what Seated_Heats said. Good luck and enjoy reading all about it before you get your hands on it. you can download the manual and read thru it so you understand most of the systems by the time you receive your vehicle.

There are a few people on this discussion thread who ordered from Lou Fusz rather than Jim butler. DaveAz and heated seats were both from Lou fusz, which I was trying to gauge if fusz was currently moving faster than Jim Butler. Yours is from Butler, correct? My order is a November order from Butler and I’m getting worried about it converting to 2023.

I just picked my Telly up on Tuesday, Feb 1st. Order date was Aug 2. Six months! At order time, they said 3-6 months. Never thought it would go the distance, but it did. Dealer said they are telling people 6-9 months now.

I’m trying to reconcile terminology. Do you know if “picked up” is the same thing as getting accepted in KFOS? I’m confused by the steps in the process and how long from one step to the next. And, congratulations! I hope I’ll get the same good news in late March!

Yes picked up and accepted into KFOS is the same. It’s when Kia acknowledges your order and pulls it out of the queue at the dealership to start the build.

Please keep this thread updated on order status from Jim Butler. I just ordered an SX with Prestige and Tow Package on 2/5. The salesman told me 3-6 months.

I also talked to Lou Fusz a few weeks ago. I asked if they had a Telluride I could test drive. They said they don't have one to test drive and will not have one to test drive anytime soon. They said that maybe I could find a dealer that is marking up the price and has one on the lot. Said to go ahead and order one and if I don't like it, they will refund my deposit and sell it to next person. When I called Jim Butler, they had a used 2020 EX I could test drive. I think a LOT of people are test driving it. So I decided to order from them...

Same here. Given the wait times, I'm hoping they release some 2023 info soon (color combos, minor changes, etc.). Not holding my breath, though.

I bought my optima from Jim butler in 2013 and have always been pleased with them and their service dept. that’s why I ordered my telluride from them. My order was placed at the end of September and I just got my ETA yesterday of 3/17!

I ordered from Jim Butler in mid December and still haven’t heard anything definitive. I am less than pleased with my salesman.. I feel like he just keeps saying what he thinks I want to hear. I was told 2-4 months and I’m already at the 3 month mark. Order hasn’t even started building. Pretty frustrating.

Huge bummer! Thanks for responding. Still no ETA on mine but I bet that means I’m looking at end of June.
