• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hi, wanted to know if anyone is running a 17 inch wheel set up. Been getting mixed answers between this forum and Facebook. I wanted to run 17x8 offset 30mm or 35mm. Anyone run this size without running to any problems with brake clearance?

Depends on the wheel. Several folks running different Black Rhino wheels. I'll be going 245/65/70 to match the stock diameter (roughly) on Black Rhino Arches.

That's exactly what I was going for. Saw someone post their wheels and they're running 245/70/17 for their tires

It fits depending on the tire but its a good 3% larger than stock and I don't want my speedo to be off.

Here’s a pic of his brake clearance. Maybe 1/8 from what he mentioned

What hub centric ring did you use?
I don't know. The installer never mentioned having to use any more parts. As far as I could tell, it was a direct replacement.

No vibrations. That would have more to do with the balancing. Be sure to get an alignment too.

hubcentric rings aren't really needed as long as you have the appropriate torque spec.

Pep boys ripping me off here then 🤦🏽‍♂️. Told me they didn’t want to be held liable unless I had the hub centric rings. Ended up getting 76.1/67.1 for the black rhino arches

The Black Rhino Arches seem to be discontinued in 17x8 5x114.3
