In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Anyone successfully get the dealer to take MSRP even though they had markup on their window sticker?

Just curious. There is a dealer here that has a green moss nightfall with gray interior - I'd buy the thing for MSRP, but they have a $10k markup on the window sticker. I think it's been on the lot for about 30 days now. It's funny their web site says "will sell fast, hot car!" but it hasn't sold yet!

If it's a CA, NY, or FL dealer, they will probably knock off 2k at most and act like they are doing you a huge favor.
And to be honest, they will not lower the prices until people stop buying them at premium prices. I still see people buying them with a ridiculous mark up so it is highly unlikely they will sell at MSRP.
If you look towards Midwest/Midsouth states, you will find more dealers willing to sell at MSRP or lower.

I was straight up with the dealer and told them what I’d be willing to pay for the car which was MSRP and no higher. They let me walk that day and then called back 2 or 3 days later to offer it as MSRP. Not sure it was marked up quite 10k though.

I honestly wonder if the sticker price that they have list scares some buyers off from even bothering to offer MSRP?

I think too many people are buying them over MSRP. To each their own, I just wouldn’t be able to stomach knowing I spent 5-10k more than I had to for something. It’s a sweet ride tho and once they get a taste they want it now! Lol

That's a hot color combo, so they will probably hold off and wait for the willing sucker.

Wasn’t/isn’t there a delay with dark moss at the moment? I may have read that on here, but Superior in Cincinnati mentioned to me yesterday that the only one they have had come late for their typical order to delivery time was dark moss.

I didn't hear that, we have a dark moss SX on order, supposed to be here in 3 weeks. Can anyone confirm that issue?

That may not be current, but rather an example of the only time they have seen a delay on the time from order to delivery they usually quote. I bet you will be fine, particularly if you already have a VIN in FC. I hope I didn‘t worry you....

I don't suspect any issue with Dark Moss production. Just check Failcat and sort on Dark Moss and you will see production is plugging right along.

Thanks, I don't have a VIN yet, should be any day I hope.
