Appearance Package

Can someone tell me whether they paid for the appearance package when buying their SXP? Its supposed to include tinted windows and some kind of nano paint protection. This particular dealer I am speaking has it as a mandatory charge for every one of their vehicles. They don't charge a market adjustment so is it basically the same thing?

Yup. Just a money maker for the dealer although some ppl like stuff like that.

I received my Black on Black T-ride and told them NOT to prep. I had my own ceramic done by a local dealer and had a "Wax" type undercoating...then had the windows tinted as well The same person who Ceramiced... also uv protected the interior ( even ceramiced the wheels... A year later and I am still pleased...I love going through a TOUCHLESS car wash of just soap and water... I drive out and on the road at say...55 and the water beads off. No wax.

Yes, same as a market adjustment. See "exterior sealant..." thread or any on dealer adds.

They were pretty specific that I couldn't decline the appearance package. Sounds like you got a better quality of the same thing.

By dealer...not an auto dealer...outside provider....
