Thanks for the responses, sorry I should have been more active on the forums and due diligence. Thanks for the offer unless a Kia SX with prestige in black interior comes in within 3 weeks then I'm set on the Palisade. That digital cluster makes it more luxury for my everyday commuting purposes.

Yeah - I love the digital cluster. If there was anything I would change about the Telluride - it would be adding the digital cluster to the SX-Prestige package and add the remote start to the key fob. Everything else is perfect.

You may already know this, in which case, my apologies. My understanding and experience is that the VIN comes late in the process. After it's built is what I experienced. But it appears that the factory ETA is pretty reliable plus or minus a week or so.

For some reason Hyundai is producing a higher % of Limited models compared to what KIA is producing SX-P of the Telluride. Cars.com shows there are 1,230 on dealer lots now compared to only 239 SX trim Tellurides on lots from KIA. But - I would still rather have the Telluride.

I was watching a video about the Kia telluride , the review stated that the SUV is amazing but it downfall is the dealership experience . If Kia Corp don't step in and correct the dealership experience . The Kia / Hyundai will never be able to remove the way people view the Korean automakers....

Right, probably a mix. However, when I can get just about whatever color and option combo at a small to mid size dealer down the street without wait and under MSRP...it tells you a lot. Plus they have to ship them on a boat and then transport across the country to get here which has to take significantly longer. The Telluride they just need to ship from GA.

i did finally hear from my dealer (once, & then again radio silent) with an ETA of 23 March. having opened a Case# with Kia Consumer Affairs already, i circled back to the rep there who confirmed that my car was linked to my dealer, marked with my name, & has an ETA of 22-23 March. i also got my BuildID.

I found that the Palisade road noise was as bad if not worse then the road noise in my Pilot. Maybe take the Palisade out for another test drive on the highway and try to have a conversation in a normal voice to make sure...

Woo Hoo, just checked the website and found the VIN for what I assume is MY Telluride. Have a call into the dealership to verify that it is mine... If so, the modified ETA that the dealer got looks good. Ordered it in late December and it was entered into KFOS in January.
