Auto stop start button

Hi. I just got my telluride and I’m trying to see if there is a way to keep the auto start stop off. I seem to have to push it off every time I crank the car. The other bottoms on the center console stay off if pushed. Why doesn’t the auto start stop?

Also does anyone know how to adjust the text message volume on CarPlay? It’s very loud. I’ve looked through sound features and turned down several phone features and sounds but it never adjusts the text tone.

lastly is there a way to order the radio presets? And is there a way to see artist and sing name on xm radio.

This is what I did and it is great! push button down insert dime gently and as button comes up it is locked into position
