Manual pages 5-20 & 21 talk about a Transfer Mode "AWD AUTO" . Is there a specific "setting" as such for "AWD AUTO" ? Or is "AWD AUTO" always automatically in use when in Smart, Sport, Comfort & Eco ?
 
Yes, If you have an AWD model, AWD Auto applies to all modes other than Snow and AWD Lock mode. It will be FWD biased AWD, slight more power to rear in snow and 50/50 in lock mode.
