• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... A couple folks asked me to post up some pics when I got my Telly back from the motorsports shop. Here’s what was done and I added the cost since I’m sure some will be curious and ask. I think the prices are fairly common no matter much where you reside

Ceramic Tint on all windows, roof glass, and windshield - $900

Calipers powder coated in gloss black: $850

Black (actual black) lug nuts and locks: :$175

Machined Black valve stem caps: $18

PPF front clip: $1,500

I agree with some that X-Line wheels lack a little pizazz, but there was no other option for me when it comes to looks. It was X-Line or nothing for several reasons. But I have to say that I’m starting to appreciate the simplicity of the design. I actually like the open design a lot more now that the calipers are done. The unfinished ugly calipers just really detracted from the look I think. Anyways… much better now. I’m going to pull the wheels off tomorrow and ceramic coat them and the calipers.

Next comes light bar and eventually gotta do something with the stereo.

Very nice!

My ‘22 SXP AWD Ebony Black is being picked up today from the detailers after getting Modesta BC-04 ceramic coated, wheels and windows coated, and front bumper PPF. Looking forward to seeing how good it looks.

Nice. I use Gtechniq Crystal Serumon my wheels and maintain with Mcquiers hybrid ceramic spray. That combo seems to work really well on wheels.

I don’t ceramic coat my cars, however. I use the PowerLock/Colinite 845 combo which I still believe gives one of the best results

Where are you putting the light bar? And I was wondering what happened to your previous Telluride

I’m not sure when. I’m going with a 30” Rough Country curved Black Series. Haven’t decided on the DRL bs non-DRL version. The shop I use said they’d charge $400 for the install including behind the small grill and mounting a switch inside the cabin. It’s a bit steep but after reading install stories… $400 is worth my weekend any time a day. It’s not a huge priority… I just think it’s cool… there’s no other legit reason actually.

My other 2020 Telluride which I literally bought still on the car hauler in the shrink wrap stayed with my wife when we got divorced. She felt safe in it and was completely comfortable driving it. She said she wanted to keep it and I wanted her to have it and be safe and not have to deal with getting another car.

Ah, thanks! I think that is a good price for the light install, since I just got quoted $1200 here in Phoenix to install two LED modules where the fog lights would go

I’m not sure if that’s just harder to do then a light bar or what but I guess $400 isn’t all that bad the.

To be honest, I’m more interested in getting the stereo upgraded. I think the whole thing is just suffering from a lack of decent power. I posted a new discussion in the Interiors group about it.

I have an appt with the local shop tomorrow. They’re a fairly high end shop so we’ll see what they have to say.

did you end up installing light bar?
i'm thinking of getting an auxbeam 5d pro 32 inch installed behind the small grill and connect switch to high beam.

Not just yet. I got the Rough Country curved 30” Black Series. I initially ordered the non-curved and it didn’t sit very well inside the grill space. Had to put everything back together and start over

I haven’t got the new one yet. I’m not sure if a 32 will fit. Make sure you measure carefully. 30” was all that would work with a little adjustments in my 23 SX X-Libe. The shop I use is always slammed so now I’ll have to wait a bit again to get in
