• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... ToughPro for the Telluride cargo area is really a great product. I’ve had them in all three rows as well for the past 2 years. They are very durable (pretty much indestructible) and easy to clean with a hose and a brush if don’t have a pressure washer.

Hey, I got the Kia carpeted cargo liner but I don’t have my car yet. Looking at it, there are strip of Velcro/self stick but they are attached to the carpet side. I assume that I have to peel them off and put the Velcro side onto the back of the 2nd row’s back, which I also assume is carpet. Then the self stick (glued) side will stick and hold the liner up, attached to the 2nd row’s back, correct? Can someone confirm. I am not sure why these Velcro strip aren’t in a separated container.

thx

edit: I meant 3rd rows’s back

I picked the ToughPro. This is what I purchased. I was looking for something that we can roll back if we ever put the 3rd row seats up. I also like that I can easily roll back to access the little hidden compartment in the back. Happy so far.
Yup! My sentiments exactly!!

I have the OEM carpeted cargo mat, but mine has different presentation. I may have a different version. All of the Velcro strips came pre-attached to the rubber underside of the mat. I pulled the mat out of the plastic, then positioned it on the cargo floor and seatbacks. (The existing carpet in the car acts as the “loop” side of the Velcro hook & loop system.)

Do your instructions indicate where to affix the Velcro strips?

ETA: Part no S9F12-AU102

The Canadian cargo one is the best that I have seen. Go to the Facebook Telluride groups page and they is a guy selling them there for $300 I think

My part number is S9F12-AU100, which based on some dealers’ websit, is superseded by AU102. I guess they shipped it without the plastic (supposed to be new) and rolled the whole thing so when I unrolled the Velcro was stronger and pull most of them away from the rubber side. But looks like there is a bunch of the Velcro strips missing. Think they sent me a used one.

The pic shows how it came. No plastic bag, no instructions

Just ordered the Canadian OEM 60/40 Premium Cargo Liner. Part #S9H12AP000. Ordered it for $293.49 USD total. That includs shipping. I live in San Diego,CA.
I ordered with Murray Hyundai near Vancouver, BC Canada. I called a few Kia dealerships in Canada and for some reason would not ship. Found a contact from another tread and emailed them. Awesome customer service. She emailed me and said she has 4 in stock. Will ship via UPS. Talk to Nova Miller-Parts advisor.

I know sometimes the outside wrap can get damaged, and they remove it if the plastic looks beat up. It's kinda disappointing though if it's truly used.

I'm attaching the instructions for mine (S9F12-AU102). Step 1 shows the locations of the velcro strips (referred to as "Securing Pads" in the instructions). There are many of them at the perimeter of the seatbacks, and 2 on the interior of each seatback. That's where you'll want to position the velcro strips on your mat.

I remember seeing a few strips on the cargo floor portion of the mat. There were not as many strips, and they were not at the perimeter. The instruction sheet does not mention them at all. Hope this helps!

Stay with me here, this isn't off topic, but when the 3rd row seats stay folded flat, are there impressions which develop in the foam from the seatbelt receivers? I've had previous SUV's which did this and it bothered me :)

Asking because I prefer leaving 3rd row up, so a folding mat vs flat is the decision. Thanks for any feedback...!

I pay attention to that detail too. The buckle receivers can be recessed in the Telluride. I make sure they are in their slots before I fold the seats down.
