If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... anyone ever try one of these infotainment screen organizer phone mount combos?...seems like it would be a good option for not blocking vents, keeping the phone eye level, not clamping onto the leather handle, no suction cups that fail during the summer heat, no adhesives and i assume the ball mount is a universal size so another mount can be installed if it breaks

I haven’t but may give it a try. Worse case, send it back to Amazon.

I have a vent mounted MagSafe wireless charger holder currently. I’m curious if I could mount the MagSafe charger part to this.

i may give it a try for my wife's telluride...since the infotainment screen doesn't extend to the edges of the housing it shouldn't block much of the screen...most of the ball sockets are universal (17mm i think)...the ad for this one doesn't seem to state the ball socket size...i recently bought this mount for my cx-5 Amazon.com which was perfect as far as mounting location and not needing to stick or drill or modify anything...the problem was i didn't like the phone mount so i took the one from my last car Amazon.com and swapped it cause the ball size is the same

just found these 4 as well but i don't like aspects of each...

different proclip setup...

This is the one I'm currently using, attached to the center vent under the infotainment system. Works well.

I just ordered the one you linked above and will see how it works out and if I like it along with the the MagSafe charger.

If not, like I said, I'll send it back.

nice!...let me know how you like it...she said she wouldn't use it so it doesn't look like i will be picking one up...haven't really looked into any of the magnetic options cause i like the holder to be able to be used by anyone who drives the car

There is only my wife and I who drive mine, and I drive it like 99% of the time, so not worried about that. She can just plug her phone in and leave it in the tray if she drives it for the one or two times a year she might be in it.

Will do. I’ll update you one I get it and get a chance to test it out.

have not pulled the trigger on a phone holder yet as i haven't seen what i have been looking for...but this may be it...

edit: ordered...should arrive today

fits well…doesn’t obscure the screen…the release buttons could be a little longer for wider phones but the bracket is the important part…the ball joint is standard so you can buy another phone cradle and just swap out if wanted
