• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Black Edition

BS it's a joke. It's how you roll. I wonder how many new/old members you've ran off in the last year? You know the saying. "Take a few minutes off, you don't want to be a &@$%€£ your whole life."

"So you know, I actually really appreciate you trying to eliminate double posts and then also linking people to previous threads discussing their issue or questions. It’s really helpful to the posters because sometimes seach just isn’t giving you what you need and it keeps the boards really nice."

It's a car specific forum. Most subjects over the years have been duped numerous times. Sometimes, those guys who wore diagonal orange belts in elementary school have never gotten over their ego trip and designate themselves as the Dupe Police.

Thanks, that's funny. I didn't run off any new members, nor old members. You joined April 4, and unless you've read all my posts, I'm pretty sure you can't identify one new member or old member that got "run off". I have been wrong before. Anyway, OaktownACE was making an observation, and provided a different perspective to my post, so I deleted it. He was right, I was wrong. In the past, I have linked to old posts to help people find the answer to their question or direct them to another thread - has nothing to do with the "Dupe Police".

And I certainly didnt wear a diagonal orange belt in elementary school... have no idea what that is. Perhaps you didn't wear a belt?

You're welcome of course. I only try to post links when I remember where something has been posted previously to help the poster answer their question. Don't mean to sound like the dupe police. The forum has a zillion threads... and it can be hard to find info. Anyway, I'll quit doing that and let others answer. There is a whole crop of new people. As previous poster said, maybe I need to take a break so I'm not an asshole my entire life! :)

Okay, fine, I'll delete it. Was just a joke. There are many fake accounts that post needless info. Why do people reply to old threads? I have no idea, but I guess thats the nature of a forum.
I really appreciate the redirection to the actual posts as well just so you know, it's just I don't believe the snark is necessary. It's really hard to convey how you are actually meaning for your comments to come off online, believe me, I've had an innocent comment of mine twisted before, but when you step back and look at it, I understand how some of these things can be misconstrued. I'm sure some people have read a comment like that made on here and said "screw it, I'm not putting up with that BS" and move on to find info elsewhere.

Thanks, good point. And yes, via text only it's hard to convey irony.

A friend of a friend told us that a Black Edition SX is a possibility this Summer but it's not confirmed. At this point only Rumor until further information becomes available. So until the God's speak... We wait.
I work at a Kia Dealer. Black Edition is definitely coming out in 21 model year around September.

Black edition has Just been confirmed for the 2021 and only on EX (Premium) and SX Trims
What that will include
• Black Edition exclusive Kia logo (front and rear) • Black Edition exclusive radiator grille in black finish • Black headlight bezels • Gloss Black roof rails* • Gloss Black window surround molding • Gloss Black skid plates (front and rear) • Gloss Black front bumper air ducts • Gloss Black lower-door garnish • Gloss Black exterior emblems
And ofcourse the awesome 20in black rims that are on the SX now available for the EX, but only in the Black Edition package
Will this Black edition be available on all colors or only black?

Some more detail, source of post above in this thread.

I assume the black edition items, like the grille and window surrounds, would fit on a 2020? And I assume the parts would be available for order?

I was on a dealer's website, <MastriaKia.com> and on their home page they show a picture of a Telluride that COULD be the Blackout Edition. It didn't look like a dealer originated picture, but rather something from Kia Media perhaps.

Nice find. Looks like different wheels than the standard 2020 SX. Also, the grill notches look rectangular instead of hexangular like on the 2020 SX.

Black Edition Specs, for EX then SX (and SX/P):
When enough black is never enough!
Maybe you can get your teeth blacked out to go along with it, and smile as you roll down the road with all the windows open.

Maybe it's me, but I didn't see black calipers on the list. I think that would be a must have in that situation.

In all honesty though. I would do red or yellow calipers in a blackout package and it would look sweet. I'm partial to cool looking calipers though, I have factory acid green calipers on my Porsche. Haven't completely figured out what I'm going to do w/ the calipers on my Telluride yet though. The bland silverish will eventually crust over bare metal isn't going to wear well.

KIA media site has nothing posted

Do you think that's the Black Edition? Could Kia have already sent out marketing material and that's how this dealership got the picture?
I don't think that's it

In Chrome, right click on the image on MastriaKia.com, and select Search Google for image. It'll pull up the exact same image/staging, but with a Dark Moss SX (less the seeming dust in the air).

You're right, exact same staging as the Dark Moss but with a different grill and the chromed pieces have been blacked out.
