• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Black Edition

Makes sense all Blacked Out... Black on Black and pictures at Daytona Beach.. Spoiled life of a supermodel Telluride.. showing off the Summer Swimsuit edition
Hoping it’ll be the centerfold in that edition! I don’t care what my wife says, I’d hang it over our bed!

It's crazy that they have a line of people just waiting to get their order in at every dealership yet they're already building these black edition cars without even posting a picture of what they'll look like.
They are getting cocky.

Very true, can’t own a bimmer when it’s not under warranty.
Precisely why I traded in my 2016 BMW X3 for my Telly. A LOT of costly maintenance coming up plus the ticking time bomb of when things will start to fail. No thanks. That was my first and last BMW. As someone once told me “BMW stands for Bring My Wallet”.

I see there is a Dark Moss/Butterscotch SX with BE package on VIN lookup today, bet that combo will look good.

if KFOS isn't open how were they able to get this vehicle allocated to them? @StephenCantrelle

Nice combo!

Is Butterscotch now available with the Prestige package? Thought BE was only on Prestige. Interesting

No, BE can be ordered on EX (Premium and AWD required), SX (AWD required) and SXP. Per the training documents. So this one would be an example of a non-prestige SX with BE.

Wild seeing people add this option without seeing it.

Again, how are they adding this option if KFOS isn't open for 2021 ordering...

No idea.
Also, is it strange that 2021s are being produced yet there is no mention of 2021s on the kia webpage? Or is this a normal occurrence between model years.

Got it!

I'd be salty as F if I've been waiting 4-6 months for my vehicle when Kia is sending out vehicles to dealers that aren't even sold..

Process is definitely broken...

I get why Kia is doing this. They have GOT to get some vehicles on dealer lots. Think about the number of people that probably won't/can't even consider ordering a vehicle, let alone ordering on sight unseen. Special orders is probably not the most efficient way to run an automobile company. They are trying to get ahead of the curve. I've been waiting a little while and am not overly concerned about the process. It will get here when it gets here.

It's how auto sales usually work. I'd be surprised if even 2% of cars sold by the major companies are special ordered. At least the ones that aren't fleet sales.
