• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Is the Telluride made with black headliner? I am always seeing the cream color one. I just saw a photo of 1 with the black headliner installed, haven't seen any others like that. I dont even see it on the kia website to build out in black. How??

The only Telluride interiors that includes a black headliner are butterscotch (SX) or dune brown (SX with Prestige package). Your picture is of butterscotch.

Agree would love the black headliner with black int. I dont mind the butterscotch or dune brown but than should allow "wood" inlay to change color as it doesnt match to either. Cant decide which would bother me more the grey headliner or inlay being a diff brownish color so not matching seats. Think best bet is to get black headliner and maybe later figure out a way to change color of inlay or eventually be an after market inlay. BTW my 1st post ;-)

Here's some rich mahogany wood grain plastic for ya Rich! Ha
I tend to agree tho, to me this woodgrain matches a lil better with the dune seats over butterscotch. Maybe down the road there will be aftermarket inlays or ppl will start painting and/or wrapping them in vinyl. 20200818_195804.webp

Nice, I feel the butterscotch looks better than the dune w/ the inlay as its so much lighter doesnt contrast as much as darker dune.

I am pretty sure the Dune Brown is only for the 1st and 2nd row seats. So the rest of the dune brown interior is actually butterscotch.

really, I would assume 3rd row is just black not butterscotch, that would be odd, either way thats a good question. Anyone out there have dune interior and what is 3rd row?

The third row seat is butterscotch with the dune brown. But I am talking about the trim around the doors and the rest of the car. It is always butterscotch even with the dune brown seats.

no inlay is butterscotch, its like a grey/brown and same color on all Ex and SX (I never looked at lower trims to say for sure).

I wish the Black interior came with black headliner! I ordered a Wolf Gray, and this is the only thing I wish I could change.

We are talking about two different things here. I am not talking about the inlay or fake wood. I am taking about the leather trim all around the car with the SX. My point is whether you get the SX Butterscotch or the SX Prestige with dune brown seats (which is 1st and 2nd row only), the rest of the interior is Butterscotch.

hmm ill have to find pics cause that could be a deal breaker if there is 2 diff color leathers, I already dont like that the wood inlay doesnt match.

I don't think the colors are different. It makes little sense that they would be. Someone that actually has the Dune interior will surely chime in. Pic in the following thread looks like Dune all around to me. What IS different is that the 3rd row is not Nappa leather. The color/shade should be the same as all other rows.

Dune brown doesnt have a different 3rd-row color, its just not Nappa leather.

The color of the dune brown Nappa leather can vary...it looks that way because it has been minimally processed. So it will never match perfectly with the leather on the doors. The only way to be sure you like it is to see the dune brown SX you want to buy in person, which is pretty tough to do unless you don’t mind paying markup.

lol no its not, are you telling me the other Nappa colors are actually different colors in the 3rd row? While it looks different because its not perforated and isnt nappa, its not a completely different color. Shade might be off, but its def not butterscotch.

This video doesnt look like butterscotch to me. Maybe someone with this interior can put this debate to rest.

still not sure where you are seeing/getting this sides in 3rd row are butterscotch, looked at a bunch of pics and 3rd row side walls are black and seats are still dune.
