• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Black Lug nut option

Keep some extras in the car

hahahah does that mean they fall off easily?
I don't know but I can imagine forgetting to tell your next space cadet tire tech about them and having them go to town on them. Or falling off, cracking due to the heat, etc.

When one does go missing, the two day wait for more may bug you having the odd chrome lug nut.

Ooh, as I'm writing this, I figured they were super cheap like $8-10, clicked your link to check and realized they're $25. Buying another set would put you at 50 which is what I paid for my black lug nuts. So... I guess if they don't hold up, just switch to black lug nuts.

What lug's did you decide, that might have to be plan B.

Audi has been doing this for years with silver plastic covers over the silver lug nuts. It works.

MichaelD, what size did you get?

my experience with black lug nuts is that impact wrenches do a number on the coating, keep us posted how they handle the wear
