• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Were you traveling straight at the time or trying to merge?

If traveling straight and the car passing in the lane next to you is also traveling straight, that is not normal behavior for the car.

Your blind spot radar might need to be taken to Kia service to be recalibrated. Did you purchase the 2020 new or used? If used, I would check the crash history if the affected side was previously hit.

Bought it new driving straight on the freeway and it has even done it on surface streets. We take it to Kia for regular service and have told them about it and they haven't found anything

Is it the BCA (blind spot collision avoidance assist) activation message you see when it happens? Do you keep your LKA feature on to check you are not driving too tight to the lane marker? Not towing anything or mounting hitch accessories that would trigger the rear radar sensor? There a slew of reasons why the rear corner radar sensors would not function properly, in the manual, if any of them apply to you. Could also try disabling BCA completely and see if your problem goes away.
