• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Anybody launch/pick-up a 22ft-ish boat using the straight hitch & ball the Telluride comes with? It appears much lower to the ground than my accadia. Worried trailer will scrap the boat ramp. The self leveling suspension won't have a chance to level picking up the biat. My hitch is about 17" off the ground without weight of boat on trailer.

No answer for you, but you could bounce up and down on your tongue to “pump up” your rear shocks. If anything it would give everyone else some entertainment🤷‍♂️

This is not a great answer but I think you may need to have some passengers or cargo on the back seat, drive around a little and then try the boat ramp to see if that helps?

However, it's worth noting that these mechanical pumping action shocks build pressure while driving to attempt to recover back to close to normal drive height while driving. So at best you might be able to get back to the hitch height when parked with no trailer and no rear passengers or cargo. It won't lift beyond that and they release pressure back down if you have been parked for a while.

If you aren't able to get the self-leveling shocks to raise the rear enough to not scrape, you may need to install Air Lift helper springs to temporarily raise the rear while you drive on/off the ramp. If you go this route, just be sure to deflate them once you've left the ramp, otherwise the self-leveling shocks won't be able to function properly while driving.
