Borla or Dual Tip Exhaust on 2020 Telly LX

I purchased the Borla Axle back months ago for my 2020 LX Telly. I originally wanted an upper trim but ended up buying my LX lease. I added a hitch, and a K&N air filter so far. Thinking of adding LED fog lights in the future. I was wondering if anyone has installed a Borla exhaust on an LX Telly and if you cut the factory Rear Bumper cover or to fit the dual tips, OR purchased the bumper cover trim that comes on the upper trims that allows for the Dual Tip exhaust.

I'm not sure how badly you want the exhaust, but the one shown recently here didn't hang correctly in the existing space from the old one and it looked bad. It's your car and you certainly can do with it what you like. That the Borla exhaust doesn't even fit the existing opening of the Telluride tells me about the quality control.

I cut mine. Then there's another user here that ended up buying the cover for their LX. You'll probably be able to find it in under search.

But here's mine for reference, no issues with straightness or anything, at least not noticeable for me.

So, can you buy the bumper trim that you see on upper models that accounts for dual tips and fit it on an LX? I would rather buy that piece and use that for more OEM look and then I can sell the uncut piece I remove. The parts guy at the dealer couldn't tell me if the upper trim piece would fit on an LX, so he basically didn't know.

Sorry, not sure. I got mine with the plan of cutting the bumper (I already cut it when I installed my Curt hitch), and didn't even consider looking for it. Called rear skid plate or something. I'm sure if you search for it here in the forum, you can find the post of the guy with the LX who did it.
