• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Has anyone looked into retrofitting Kia Stinger Brembo calipers and rotors onto the Telluride? Seems like an easy parts bin swap if they would fit. I've spent the evening looking for any dimensional info for both the Stinger and the Telluride without any luck. Does anyone know? There are tons of Stinger Brembo calipers on Ebay. Curious about pad area, caliper size, and the difference between the rotors.

I assume the brakes on all 2020-2024 Tellurides are the same, regardless of trim level?

I just bought a 2024 SX-P Xline (end of year special) and I think the red calipers would look great - and hopefully upgrade the braking power.

Thoughts?

Thank you -- I am aware of that option - but I am interested in seeing if the alternative idea I have is feasible. Those rotors and pads appear to be custom - so the replacements are likely expensive. IF the stinger parts can be used, then Pad and rotor options expand significantly.

Hopefully someone on here with the specific knowledge of these parts can chime in.

Dig DEEP into Textar's "BrakeBook"
Deep inside there's ton's of information and dimensions of various parts for brakes.

Caveat: If Textar and/or their brands do not have offerings for the two above vehicles, there will be almost nothing.

This was a oft used resource when I owned my shop.

If you can brake hard enough (with cold brakes on dry pavement) to engage the anti-lock system that is all the braking power you are going to get. Where heavier duty calipers, pads, and discs can help is to be more heat tolerant/fade resistant at high brake system temperatures, IOW racing, descending mountain roads with the brakes used, driving too hard on the street, etc.

Apparently, GV70 Brembo front brake kit is direct both on

With 18's or are 20" wheels/tires necessary?

I did go over to the Textar BrakeBook (prior suggestion) and only found drawings/sizes of brake pads. No further (they're European) to be had :>((
