• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... When you have plenty of time to come to a full stop, is it better to wait and apply hard breaking for a short time, or start early and apply easy breaking for a longer time? Which is better to minimize break wear? Or maybe they are the same ....? (I guess if you start early, there is more time for engine breaking ?)

Braking sooner allows more time for the heat to dissipate and I believe (never confirmed) creeping some instead of fully stopping may help reduce rotor warpage.

Thanx .....pretty much confirms my suspicions.
BRAKE vs. BREAK ......... got it.......my whoops .........
