Buggy infotainment?

Just got a '22 EX and the infotainment system is getting annoying. For instance...I'm listening to SXM and I plug in my iPhone. SXM shutsoffand Carplay takes over on the left of the screen. I try to show SXM, but the widget on the splitscreen won't come back.

Also, when using carplayand listening to SXM, if I pick my phone up and open Twitter, it shuts off mySXM music.

This behavior is in other cars too, not KIA alone. I can get SXM to play, then I just leave the phone alone while I’m driving. If I do pickup the phone, it appears to take over everything.
