California dealership that takes order?

Have been waiting for the situation come better after half a year, but it seems getting worse...
Dropped some emails to dealerships in NorCal and none of them would take custom orders. Even the highly rated ones (Hilltop) seemed stop taking orders.

Anyone has info on any california dealers would take orders? I do see some success in out-of-state ones (i25) but just wanted to check if I can avoid the hassle of registering with CA DMV.

Thanks - do you have experience on this? I saw some threads here suggesting one needs to hit CA DMV multiple times and deal with the SMOG, title, etc.

Maybe CA is different with the SMOG business, but I am in NJ, bought in NY, the dealer did everything for me.
