• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... My pretty new Telly has had a flickering/lines issue on it's passenger side camera feed since about 600 miles. Yesterday the dealer replaced the entire side mirror, which solved the problem for about 50 miles before it started happening again.

Anyone else experiencing this and know what the fix should be? The feeds from other cameras (left, front, rear) are all fine.

I had this exact same issue on the driver's side sideview mirror camera feed. Dealership diagnosed it as a problem with the door wiring/wire harness. They replaced the wire harness and I have not had any issue since. I have put on 510 miles since the fix.

I am having the same problem on the drivers side. They replaced the mirror/camera and that did not work. They want the vehicle for a couple of days to figure it out. I think I’ll point them to the wiring harness. Thanks.

Quick update for anyone following this - apparently a technical service bulletin has been released by Kia about this issue. So at least Kia is recognizing the issue is widespread. I don’t have more specifics yet but I’ll share anything else my rep passes on to me.

My telluride is heading in next week to get it taken care of (about 1.5 hours of work). Will keep you posted!

TSB attached. Appears to be an issue with the coax cable terminals.
Thank you very much for the info. I do have this issue on my 2021 SX. They actually ordered a new mirror assembly so I will forward the TSB to the salesman who is assisting me.

When I download the TSB I get garbage, unreadable.

The download is clean on this end.

I attached the pdf file the service rep emailed me so I’m not sure why it’s not working. Here’s a screenshot of the first page. The additional pages are the detailed service instructions

Happy to help, and hopefully this makes all of your fixes go smoothly (instead of doing an unnecessary mirror replacement!)

They tried a new mirror assembly for mine too. That didn't work. I will take this TSB to them to help point them in the right direction.

Thanks for posting. The lines are starting to appear now on the rear backup camera only after approximately 3k miles. It occurs on the rear back up camera image as well as the 360 camera view too (only from the rear camera feed in the 360 image.) I'll mention this TSB during my call to the dealer. Thanks

Might be calling Muncie too for that extended warranty. More tempting to me now.

Have others taken in their Tellurides to get fixed per the TSB linked above? How did that work for you?

Mine went in a couple weeks ago and the dealership performed the fix described by the TSB. Everything worked fine for about a day, and now I'm still seeing the problem occur intermittently. It happens far less frequently which is great, but frequently enough that it's clear there's still a problem.

Back to the dealership it will go (in addition to the vibration problem I'm still dealing with).

My 2021 sxp just started flickering in the front camera.. sigh... first vibration of floorboard, then rattling captain seats and now this... I am really starting to be pissed off. I haven't even had this car for a month. My 2020 didn't have any issues. I wonder if KIA is cutting corners on build quality with the increasing demand.

I got it done 3-weeks ago and have not had an issue since. I drive a lot (200 miles a day) and appears fine.

Second attempt at fixing the connector also failed. This is super annoying.

In both cases the dealer has made the fix, driven the vehicle a bunch (because they’ve also been working on another issue) and has confirmed the fix.

But then within 1-2 days of me having it back, the issue returns.

It’s very intermittent now. It will sometimes be fine, and other times be flickering again. I’ve noticed that it now alternates between working and not in the course of the same drive, something I didn’t notice before.

At my wits end about this issue. Not sure whether to demand compensation for it, or just return it as a lemon (I’ve met all the criteria at this point).
