Camera Obscured warning

I was just about to ask here if anyone had warnings about the Critical Forward Safety functions being limited or Lane Safety system being disabled due to camera obscured but my husband figured it out before I could even ask him about it. Turns out a high volume bird crap splatter in a very specific place on your windshield will cause havoc in the safety features. I didn't notice it several times when going to the car, neither my daughter or I remembered that camera existed even though we checked all the other cameras and sensors, and that specific spot isn't visible from inside the car due to those little black dots. Let me share my foolishness for your amusement or education, your choice. There were three different warning messages and lights due to bird shit!?!

This car has the most sensitive sensors of our cars. Just about anything covering the sensor generates some error with this system… frost in the morning, driving down the highway toward a rising sun. Not surprised at all.
