Is the conversion from 4 to 7 pin difficult or a pretty simple proposition?

If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. Does anyone have any links to videos or photos on installing the 4 pin adapter? Where did you run the wire from the adapter to the battery - on the driver's side. and stay low in the engine compartment then up the drivers side wall, or threaded through the middle to the left of the battery?
