That would be my guess, or I just got really lucky and picked right color and trim that was not allocated.

But in the end I won't believe it until I see it at the dealer.

I thought maybe he was bullshitting me, but the VIN is real, 5XYP5DHC3MG10XXXX is what they gave me (XXXX are actual numbers, edited out by me)

= $3055 difference

Invoice Price: $49,321
= $1874 difference

Hopefully there will be more rebate to counter the increase

My sales guy told me that if I'm willing to take the brown interior there will be better chance to get it. Too bad wife hates it.

My Midnight Edition build does not have a choice on interior, just the exterior color was only thing I could pick, that's why I think I got lucky, they are making all of them the same.

Got a call from my dealer a couple min ago. He has a VIN and it’s built! Should get it in mid-Sept.

He said he is still waiting on VIN’s from March, so it does look like Kia is concentrating on SXL Blackline’s right now.

I also just got called! Ordered mine on Wednesday and my order was assigned a VIN and it’s built as well! I will have mine mid to end of September.

I’m pretty pumped!

I ordered out of Edmonton because that is the closest dealer to us, we live a few hours west of the city though. Originally they said 2-3 months. And he said to me on the phone as well that they have people that have been waiting since March.

Either they ordered different models, or you and I just had a good run of luck on ours.

I just talked to my dealer if your getting your order early its because someone else didn't want to wait and cancelled their orders and it goes to the other buyers of the same trim you guys just got lucky you ordered a fully loaded SXL model as they are being shipped.
