• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Canadian Cargo Mat with 60/40 Split

Has anyone purchased these mats and tried to cut a hole for the LATCH hookups? I really like this cargo cover but I'll need to use the LATCH for my kids' car seats.

I haven’t done it, but I do have these mats. If I were going to, I think I’d make a template with the mat off to know exactly where to cut. Then I’d probably try cutting just the top and two sides of the rectangular cut out so that you’d have a flap of mat that you could press back into place when not needing the latch,

Or, you could just pull the mat away from the back of the seat, hook the car seat latch onto the latch and then put the mat back over it. My guess is it would just have a slight bump where the seat hook was hooked to the latch. I’d probably try that before cutting the mat.

@BasilFawlty - I just watched your YouTube video and put in my order with 401 Dixie. Are you still happy with them now that you‘ve had them a few months?

@vinylhaircut - Still loving yours?

Do the rectangles on the mat line up with where the latch and hooks are placed on US version on seat backs? Curious if anyone ever did cutouts.

Absolutely love it! It has held up very well (and believe me I'm given this mat a workout). It's also very easy to clean. Look forward to hearing how you like it once you finally get it.

I’m about a week out on the car. Hopefully the mats aren’t too far behind!
