2021 Telluride Detailing Thread
Long overdue thread. More than a dozen threads talk about PPF and Ceramic coatings on the site. Consolidating that to one thread. Feel free to share ideas, pictures, equipment recommendations and of course list killer dealers anyone finds out there relating to detailing. My Telluride has...tellurideforum.org
You can do a quick rinseless wash in between maintenance washes to knock that dust down.
I'm under the category of bust my butt to detail the hell out of it and then after 3 days it looks like crap again with brake dust, road salt, etc. and I'm totally OK with that.Do you typically hand dry the in between wash?
Just curious, should I hand dry on the “rinse off” washes or just wait to hand dry on the detailing washes?I'm under the category of bust my butt to detail the hell out of it and then after 3 days it looks like crap again with brake dust, road salt, etc. and I'm totally OK with that.
I get the satisfaction out of those first 3 days lol.
A rinseless wash is pretty easy. Check out ONR on amazon. You end up using 8-10 microfibers and spraying the product on and wiping off.Just curious, should I hand dry on the “rinse off” washes or just wait to hand dry on the detailing washes?

Goes left unsaid but yup - spray on panels and spray on microfiber then wipe.I would recommend never using anything dry to wipe off the paint. There are a number of spray on car wash products that work well when used with an appropriate micro fiber towel.
