Close The Door While Running

The previous car i had gave me the ability to leave the car running and lock the doors from the outside using my key fob. Can i do that with my telluride? I have an LX, if the trim matters. Is there a way for me to do that?

IMHO, this is useful especially when you have to run into the store or even get something in the house, and you want to leave the car to keep it cool or warm (depending on the weather/season). Tbh, if the reason why they're not letting you do this is because of all the environmental bs like "global warming" or "climate change" issue then idc about any of that because thats just man-made bs.

Pop the cover off the key slot on the drivers door handle and use the key to lock the doors.

Thank you. I kind of thought there was a setting i had to go to to the screen to enable it. I didnt expect that it would like that lol. Thank you again though still!

I wish it was easier to pop the cover. I always feel like I’m going to break the plastic tab.

I don't have my car yet but had to research that detail. Our Honda doesn't have a cover so it's not a big deal. I hope they just do away with that cover knowing that it's difficult to remove. It's below zero like 3-4 weeks a year where I live so I do use that feature from time to time.
