• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Currently have a SX Sorento. Specifically went with the SX in order to get the color matched trim (as opposed to the black plastic trim around the wheels, etc.). It baffles me that the Telluride still does not have this option, even with the 2021 models (I was really hoping to see that change for the new model year). Do we see this changing in the future, or is there any aftermarket option here? Its not possible to simply paint the black trim as it is textured.

I agree that there should be an option for this. I think that’s the one advantage of the black or even the gravity gray. It doesn’t stand out as much.

When we do get a Telluride the plan is to get black for that reason, but it still is not my first choice. With the dealer markup and lack of incentives on the Telluride it may very well be 2022 before I am willing to spend the money on one, so here is hoping Kia gets their act together and fixes this.

Just noticed that the Palisade has color matched trim. Too bad the rest of the design is not as good as the Telluride.Palisade SE.png
