• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I wonder if anyone has an issue of the "comfort mode" icon on displaying in the instrument panel when it's selected? I don't know when it started happening since I seldom use this mode (I actually don't even know what this mode would do :) ). I have the 2020 SX AWD model.

It’s not an issue, and it isn’t new. It has never shown up in the cluster. Comfort is the default, so it isn’t called out. You’ll only see something displayed if you choose any different drive mode.

bruesjoh04 is correct per the 2023 user manual. I cracked the manual open this week because my car kept reverting back from Sport mode to Comfort when I turned off the car. Apparently that's as designed, which I dislike, to be honest. Sport is the only mode that reverts to Comfort.

Snow will also revert back to the default of comfort. Comfort, smart, and eco will persist between ignition cycles.

Maybe it depends on the model year? I'm reading from my 2023 owner's manual and it says "When the Engine Start/Stop button is cycled off then on again, the system defaults to Comfort mode from Sport mode . When in other modes, it returns to its previous setting." I haven't used Snow mode yet to know if that's how that works.

Not sure I understand what the confusion is? Pretty straightforward. Snow and Sport will revert to Comfort when the engine is started. The other modes will stay as they were - Comfort, ECO, Smart

I always use Smart mode ...

I ALWAYS use ECO mode. Suits me fine for pick up and cruising.
