Hi there. Direct messaging is a feature that opens up over time. It's an unfortunate but necessary evil...

Sometimes the security system is a bit overzealous. It would be nice if these features were not needed at all...

Hi, for some reason I am unable to include any links in my posts - even in replies to posts from other members. I've tried a couple of different ways, but always get the "oops - we ran into some problems" message.

What am I doing wrong?

Sorry about this necessary evil. The system uses an algorithm to upgrade accounts once it feels comfortable doing so. You should not be far off... Otherwise, we have malicious people come here, post a few messages, and then share a link to a malicious website. It's unfortunate that we have to protect our members and readers like this - but it is necessary...

Otherwise, we have malicious people come here, post a few messages, and then share a link to a malicious website. It's unfortunate that we have to protect our members and readers like this - but it is necessary...

It's definitely a shortcoming in the software that it won't allow internal linking...
