• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Having trouble navigating to compass rose in Nav display so I have coordinate and altitude info. Compass display in instrument cluster lacks the info I want. Tried sweeping right on the nav screen but never saw a choice for compass

If you’re viewing the map or an audio source, hit the arrow on the far right of the display to put it into split screen mode. You will then have a separate thing on the right 1/3 of the display and you can swipe up and down through its options. There’s a clock, map, the compass, audio, passenger talk, weather, etc to choose from.

You can also have this show up next to your Android Auto or Apple CarPlay display IF you first go to Setup > device connections and choose AA/CarPlay and make sure “use split screen” is checked. If you use AA, you definitely want this enabled because AA doesn’t take up your full screen anyway. If you use CarPlay, it depends what information is most important for you to have displayed.

Is this what you are referring to?

How do you get the “Compass (1/3)” sign to turn off once you choose the compass you’d like? Thanks in advance!

You don’t. That’s always going to be there as long as you have the compass section up over there.
