Recently watched a youtube video (a bit boring) and took a peek at the concept Kia built for the Telly.

A little space age for my tastes so glad some of the styling didn’t make it - wish the exterior door handles did though. The dash being all one screen is neat too, but not disappointed in the current set up.

Thoughts?

Me too. The DRL’s are one of my favourite features on the telluride. Really Makes it stand out and you can see it from a mile away that it’s a telluride. Liked the dash and doors too on the concept

I doubt the rear "suicide doors" will make it to production.

It was an interesting concept car, testing out ideas before the final refinements for production and I think Kia got some useful feedback that ended up in the Tellurides we know and love.

That concept car color (Pyrite something) was a bit off-putting to me.

I'm sure it looked interesting and sparkled and grabbed attention and eyeballs under the show room lights to simulate a kind of bronze glow, but the Dark Moss production color looks way better for real world lighting conditions.

DM has a much better mix of flakes that look less cartoonish and more something people can drive to work, to the store, or on scenic road trips.

Love how photogenic the production color is from different angles, lighting conditions, weather conditions outside of a showroom.

Also glad that they fixed the The Front End and made the LED headlights sit better and ditched that grill (although it kind of shows up in NFE).

The one thing I liked was the suicide doors, but again, probably cooler at a car show but not very practical for production and in real life usage.

Makes me thankful that the designers made the right choices for the production Telluride, the amazing interior is the way it is and the concept car stayed a concept

I like the concept designs except for:

• Wheels
• Grill height
• Headlights if they didn’t have the amber DRLs. But if they kept that quad lens with amber DRL, probably would also look sick.
• That second row reclining seat would’ve made 3rd row unusable
