If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Is there a consensus or who have sold there vehicles to nationwide purchasers (Carvana, Vroom) and which provided the best deal and ease of transactions? My daughter is coming off a lease on her BMW mini and we are testing this avenue before turning it in. She is leasing the vehicle, but some of these vendors will handle this. Thanks!

Can't speak for anyone else but this was our experience. We got quotes from all of the nationwide purchasers (2014 low mileage Lexus RX350). Carvana made the best offer and had great customer reviews. Offered $4K over KBB. Arrived exactly when they said they would. Driver's name was Maria. Verified the VIN, took a couple of photos, signed some paperwork and handed us a check for the agreed upon amount. Very friendly and efficient process. Took less than 30-minutes. Would highly recommend. Just be sure to consider sales tax impact when choosing a nationwide purchaser.

BTW, love our 2021 WG Nightfall SXP.

I sold a truck to Shift earlier in the year and the process was very smooth. A representative (couldn't have been older than 20) took an Uber to my house and thoroughly checked my vehicle (inspected every body panel, checked the coolant and oil, measured tire tread depth, etc.), then drove it for about 15 minutes. Once I accepted their offer (which did not change after the inspection), I signed the paperwork in my garage and he drove off with the vehicle. The equity was deposited in my account two days later.

I'll be selling my current vehicle to Carvana in just over a week.

I think you have to price it out on all of the services to be sure, because it varies geographically and with the vehicle you're selling. I got a higher offer from Vroom, but when I put in that I had an accident (it was a little body damage from an ice chunk, repaired with insurance money good as new), the offer dropped quite a bit. Carvana did not ask that question, so their offer ended up higher. When they came to pick it up, the inspection would not catch anything cosmetic because they don't seem to care....as long as the car runs, you're good to go. The only negative I would say for Carvana, it took them 10 days to pick up the car from my street. They cut me a check right away but did not send a tow truck for 10 days. I deposited the check the day they came by though, no issues.
